Maybe because of musical karma….Famous people like to run into me. It’s just really fun to talk with Ben Harper in a park about life, have a beer with John Welsley Harding at a Philly bar, kiss Juliana Hatfield (it happened), drink with Michael Buble in Osaka Japan, meeting the legendary blues-man James Cotton backstage, get pulled onstage by Sharon Jones, and watch the world series in San Francisco with The Black Crowes, here’s to more Musical Encounters…as we are all really Almost Famous.

Interview with Max Kendall. In this interview we talk playing live, mashups, songwriting and all things from the band Deco. Songwriter for Radio 1 favourites, Deco. Signed to Ultra Records.

The brains behind viral mashup hits including 'Wonderwall x Smalltown Boy'. Played with Nile Rogers & Chic, Jess Glynne, Boy George & Culture Club. Worked closely with songwriters Pete Hammerton (One Direction, Little Mix), Paul Harris (Kylie Minogue, Purple Disco Machine). A lot of his work has been for viral pop band Deco who have had a very successful 2021 with mashup hits and supporting the likes of Nile Rogers & Chic, Jess Glynne and Culture Club. National TV appearances and Radio 1s Big weekend have followed.
